Islamification

Summary:
  • These extraordinary legal actions are almost exclusively reserved for the punishment of those who have criticized Islam.

  • On the contrary, it seems clear that the real reason for these prosecutions is that people in positions of authority fear violence byMuslims if their critics go unsilenced.

  • The same reporters and commentators who insist that it is absurd to worry about sharia coming to the West are, in fact, ideologically arm-in-arm with those in authority who are aggressively introducing sharia-style laws in the West, prosecuting speech that violates those laws, and issuing dark warnings -- in tones unbefitting public officials in a free country -- that you had better learn to be sharia-compliant or you will be sorry. The real lesson of all this is that we had better learn to be aggressive in our resistance to this proliferation of sharia-influenced prohibitions or we will, indeed, end up being very, very sorry.

Summary:
  • Reports of alleged links between Islamic charities and terrorism or extremism surged to a record high, according to the Charity Commission, a charity watchdog.

  • Azad Ali, an Islamist who has said that he supports killing British soldiers, was named a director of Muslim Engagement and Development (Mend), a controversial Muslim pressure group which advises the British government. Ali said that the jihadist attack at Westminster on March 22, 2017 was not an act of terrorism.

  • "Politicians tell us they are unafraid, but they are never the victims. How easy to be unafraid when one is protected from the line of fire. The people have no such protections." — Manchester-born singer Morrissey.

  • The British government refused to say whether telling people about Christianity could be a hate crime. Lord Pearson of Rannoch said that when he raised a question on the issue in the House of Lords, the government failed to state clearly whether Christians can be prosecuted just for stating their beliefs.

The Norwegian police have raised concerns about the ongoing radicalization process in so-called ‘Quran schools' in Somalia, where kids from immigrant families residing in the Nordic country are sent, often against their will, by parents to avoid being "westernized."

Summary:

William had just returned home to north Sinai when masked militants came for him at his corner shop at dusk. They shot him in the head, dragged his body outside and, screaming “apostate”, beat his corpse in the street. The Christian shopkeeper had fled the town of Arish months earlier after seven Copts had been shot by jihadists.

Austria
News Date:

Summary:
  • A coalition between the anti-immigration Austrian People's Party and the anti-establishment Austrian Freedom Party, which will be sworn into office on December 18, is poised to catapult Austria to the vanguard of Western Europe's resistance to mass migration from the Muslim world.

  • The massive demographic and religious shift underway in Austria, traditionally a Roman Catholic country, appears irreversible. Austria has also emerged as a major base for radical Islam.

Summary:

Insofar as ideas have consequences, an understanding of Islam must account for all myths, beliefs, ideas, and practices that impact the lives of Muslims, whether or not they are approved of by some analysts. If an idea is consequential, it cannot be excluded from an understanding of Islam. For example, the Pakistan-based jihadi organization Jaish-e-Muhammad quotes the Prophet Muhammad as saying: "Jihad is obligatory upon you under every emir [leader], whether he be pious or fasiq [sinner]."[1] Even if this quote were inauthentic, it still aids in terrorist training and is therefore consequential, especially in the anti-India jihadi war in Kashmir. My necessary argument is this: Any myth, belief, idea, or fact held in the name of Islam, even if false, has consequences.

Summary:
  • "We do not know what they are preaching as [it is] all in Arabic." — A petitioner against the Hussainiyat Al-Rasool Al-Adham mosque, in the middle of one of London's two largely Jewish areas.

  • "[Ayatollah Syed Mohammed Al-Shirazi]... would constantly encourage the establishment of Hussaini centers across the world, especially in non-Islamic countries... so we can propagate the teachings of the Ahlulbayt." — Leading members of the Hussainiyat Al-Rasool Al-Adham mosque describing its 30-year history and why it was established.

Summary:

“There are accounts of Sharia patrols questioning and even attacking” British citizens. Gangs intimidate and pester “those who are complying with British law but not their own.” “Muslim grooming gangs prey upon kafir, namely non-Muslim girls, and regard them as legitimate targets to violate.”

“Many, if not most, state schools in our big cities compel halal-only menus to be offered, with no alternatives to their children.” Rather than serve bacon, “Holiday Inns now routinely observe Islamic dietary laws” and supermarkets sell insufficiently labelled halal meat. “It would seem consumer choice must now bow before the writ of the Imam.” (They were quick to allow options for consumers who wanted to deviate from a traditional British diet, but they refuse to consider those that wish to return to one.)

This incident was related to us recently by a Sharia Watch supporter. It is a very small but quite telling exampe of the way our society id slowly succumbing to Islamification:

Summary:
  • Turkey controls 900 mosques in Germany and feels free to say that a "liberal mosque" in Germany is "incompatible" with Islam.

  • Can you imagine Germany offering Iraq, Syria and Egypt to build "200 new churches" to reconstruct the derelict and dispossessed Christian communities there? No, because in the Middle East, Christians have been eradicated in a forced de-Christianization.

  • Christians in Germany will become a minority in the next 20 years, according to Die Welt.

  • We risk losing not only our churches, but more importantly, our cultural strength and even confidence in the values of our own civilization.
