Summary:
  • Crossbench peer Lord Singh signed a letter on behald of several religious groups
  • It defends Labour MP Sarah Champion for warning of grooming by Pakistani men
  • And it said the group was 'dismayed by the Labour leadership's weak response'
  •
Summary:

And still more and more ‘cats’[Muslims} pour into Europe and into the UK. The grooming has been occasioned because we made this mess for ourselves and have neither the political inclination nor the will to call a halt. And because our politicians are terrified they might be called ‘racist’ if they grasp the nettle. And so we live in a bizarre state of denial. Here’s my bet — Mohammed Khan wins his case.

Summary:

A LABOUR councillor has been sacked by the party just a week after she spoke out to support sexually abused children. Amina Lone, a councillor in Manchester, defended Sarah Champion after the MP wrote an article for The Sun pointing the finger at gangs of Asian-origin rapists in northern towns.

Summary:

The vast majority of members of street grooming gangs are not ‘Asian’ – they are specifically Pakistani, culturally rooted in a nation whose government this week threw out a proposal to ban child marriage on grounds that to do so is ‘unIslamic.’  The grooming gangs are culturally inspired, and racially motivated, and children are being sacrificed to the wish that it wasn’t so: in other words, to a big, fat lie.

Summary:
  • One need not go back centuries to the Muslim conquest of the Christian late classical world -- the medieval Barbary corsair raids, the Ottoman yoke in Central and Eastern Europe or the slave markets of Kaffa in Tatar Muslim Crimea -- to understand that this violence clearly predates the European colonial era, the creation of the modern state of Israel, or the issue of climate change.

  • Countries such as China, Nigeria or Kenya that are not Western, not"imperialist", not whatever the excuses that Islamists make, are still spectacularly attacked by similar stabbings. Month on month, there seems almost nowhere that Islamic terror did not strike.

  • Volumes of revered Islamic texts establish in great detail the grounds of violence and oppression of non-believers and those deemed heretical. These supposed grounds -- made alive daily in madrassas and mosques across the world before being acted upon by religiously-trained terrorists -- are childishly dismissed by Western liberals as immaterial.

  • The first step towards a solution is to question the received knowledge tirelessly dished out by media pundits in the West. What is lacking is simply seeing a huge body of evidence of theological justification for Islamist terror.

Summary:

It is all part of a much bigger pattern. Elsewhere, I have recently explained the strange British and European sickness whereby we don’t really have the societal fortitude to deal with (or even address) problems such as the organised gang-rape of children and console ourselves by attacking anyone willing to acknowledge the truth. We attack the response to the problem because we lack the societal fortitude to address the problem. You have to stand back to recognise the full consequence of such societal sickness. Imagine if Shah, Corbyn and their eggers-on among the Twittering classes were able to summon up even a quarter of the rage they reserved for Kavanagh and Champion, and saved it instead for the rapists who brand their initials on girls they regard as ‘chattel’

Summary:

And among some of Britain's urban Muslims - nearly half of whom were born in the UK and are under 24 - there's a belief that leaving Islam is a sin and can even be punished by death. An investigation for the BBC has found evidence of young people suffering threats, intimidation, being ostracised by their communities and, in some cases, encountering serious physical abuse when they told their families they were no longer Muslims. There are also local councils that seem to have little awareness of the issue or any policy on how to protect these vulnerable young people.

Summary:

But who are we kidding? Of course Barnardo’s were aware of the cultural and religious influences behind FGM. They even stated in the article that one of the indications a child is at risk is when a parent might “mention they are going to a country with a high prevalence of FGM.” But, unsurprisingly yet bizarrely, they fail to go on to list any of the countries to which they refer. Expect people to guess do we, Barnardo’s? Or is this just part of your strategy to appear like you are tackling a serious issue whilst actually skirting around the cold hard truths?

Rather than simply making an innocent mistake, the evidence all points to this charity actively distorting the reality of female genital mutilation in a perverted desire to remain politically correct. The reason this is so chillingly sinister is because it’s precisely this attitude which has infected police services, councils and social services across the country – in places like Rochdale, Rotherham and Telford – as predominantly Muslim grooming gangs targeted young vulnerable white girls in the full knowledge the authorities were too cowardly to act.

It was far easier to depict a white girl in Western clothing, despite it having little to no relevance to the issue being debated, than a Muslim child in Islamic clothing.

Summary:
  • London Mayor Sadiq Khan banned advertisements that promote "unrealistic expectations of women's body image and health". Now Berlin is planning to ban images in which women are portrayed as "beautiful but weak, hysterical, dumb, crazy, naive, or ruled by their emotions". Tagesspiegel's Harald Martenstein said the policy "could have been adopted from the Taliban manifesto".

  • The irony is that this wave of morality and "virtue" is coming from cities governed by uninhibited leftist politicians, who for years campaigned for sexual liberation. It is now a "feminist" talking point to advocate sharia policy.

  • To paraphrase the American writer Daniel Greenfield, the irony of women celebrating their own suppression is both heartbreaking and stupefying.

Summary:
  • Were terror attacks like this simply something that the British public would have to get used to, as the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, had suggested? What if the public did not want to get used to them?

  • That the UK authorities allowed the "Al-Quds Day" march to proceed through the streets of London and for Palestine Expo to assemble such an array of speakers just down the road from one of this year's terror attacks, suggests that all that has happened this year in Britain is extremely very far from "enough".

  • So, rather than expecting resilience, the British people will have to be prepared to accept still more terror -- and doubtless more pointless platitudes to follow each attack -- as surely as they have followed all the attacks before.
